GreyCloud is the result of a long path that brought my family and me to Faribault in 2015. I grew up in Lakeville, spent years working in Minneapolis and Saint Paul, and eventually found my way here with my wife, our two kids, and our bichon frise, Cousin Walter. Faribault became home in every sense of the word. In 2020, we became a Habitat for Humanity family and finally opened the door to our own house. That moment changed everything for us.

During that same year, I was laid off from my job as a manager and bartender at a music venue in Saint Paul. Like a lot of people, I had to rethink everything. That pushed me into starting my first handyman business. I took on small projects, helped neighbors, and built a reputation for dependable work with a personal touch. After stepping away for a while, I made the decision to bring that work back in a new and better way with GreyCloud.

My wife is the heart and brains behind Pickle Paper, our creative print and stationery shop. Between her work and mine, we keep plenty busy and always stay connected to the community. I also serve on the Faribault HRA, which gives me a chance to support local housing efforts and contribute to the city that has given so much to us.

My hobbies are a mix of what keeps me curious. Storm chasing, photography, woodworking, computers, and anything creative tend to pull me in. GreyCloud is a place where those interests actually help the work. I enjoy problem solving, building things that last, and finding clean, simple ways to improve a space.

At the end of the day, my goal is straightforward. I want to offer good, quality work with honesty behind it. I want to help people feel more comfortable in their homes and businesses. And I want to make a lasting difference here in Rice County. Faribault welcomed us years ago, and GreyCloud is one way I hope to give something meaningful back.
