This project involved the complete restoration and repainting of a front porch, entry door, and detached garage. The original porch had peeling paint, weathered boards, and fading trim. The garage siding was worn and discolored from years of exposure. Our goal was to give the home a clean and refreshed appearance while improving protection against moisture and seasonal changes.
The work started with full surface preparation. This included scraping loose paint, sanding rough areas, washing all surfaces, and repairing small imperfections. Once the surfaces were ready, we applied high quality exterior paint with a durable finish designed to hold up to Minnesota weather. The porch floor, railings, posts, and trim were repainted in a bright and clean color that lifted the entire front entry. The yellow door was refinished to create a bold and welcoming accent. The detached garage received a fresh coat of siding paint and new trim color to match the home for a consistent look.
The final result is a clean and updated exterior with smooth painted surfaces, improved curb appeal, and reliable protection from the elements.
